Theory and Method
The ToronCare™ 6600 Adjustable Hospital Bassinet is designed around ergonomic newborn care, allowing caregivers to adjust the bassinet to a suitable working height instead of repeatedly bending toward a fixed-height bed. Raising the infant tub toward a comfortable working level helps caregivers maintain a more upright posture during routine activities such as feeding, diapering, examination, and repositioning. The foot-pedal height mechanism allows staff to adjust the bassinet hands-free, which is particularly useful when their hands are occupied with the infant or care supplies.
Two mechanical systems provide controlled positioning. The gas-spring tilt mechanism uses compressed nitrogen and a piston to provide smooth adjustment of the tub from 0° to 12°. This allows caregivers to establish a controlled head-up position when appropriate for newborn positioning and comfort. The height-adjustment mechanism is operated through the foot pedal and integrated into the aluminum alloy column, providing 300 mm of vertical adjustment without requiring electrical power. Return Policy:
Torontech WorldWide may accept return of purchased merchandise within North America for refund or credit under the following conditions -
- There may be an additional restocking fee charged to the transaction if items are already shipped to customer.
- Goods must be returned to Torontech WorldWide within 5 days of the date of the receipt of the purchased goods.
- All freight, duties, customs, and other related shipping charges for the returned merchandise are borne by the purchaser. Shipments made freight collect will be refused.
