Theory and Method
The ToronCare™ 6800 Premium Hospital Bassinet provides controlled positioning through a spring-loaded column and two release wrenches. One wrench controls the tilt mechanism, while the other operates the height adjustment. A compression spring supports the load and helps the bassinet move smoothly without sudden drops. Releasing the corresponding wrench unlocks the adjustment, while resetting the mechanism secures the bassinet at the selected height or angle. The spring-assisted design allows a single caregiver to raise, lower, or tilt the bassinet with controlled movement.
The bassinet provides two-way tilt of up to 11° in either direction, allowing caregivers to select a suitable position for different newborn care needs. A head-up position can support feeding and comfort, while the head-down direction provides an alternative clinical positioning option when required by care procedures. Returning the basin to a level position creates a flat sleeping surface. This bidirectional adjustment provides greater positioning flexibility than a bassinet with head-up adjustment alone, making it suitable for varied maternity and obstetric care applications.
The basin is made from PMMA (poly(methyl methacrylate), or acrylic), a transparent thermoplastic known for high optical clarity and good surface hardness. Return Policy:
Torontech WorldWide may accept return of purchased merchandise within North America for refund or credit under the following conditions -
- There may be an additional restocking fee charged to the transaction if items are already shipped to customer.
- Goods must be returned to Torontech WorldWide within 5 days of the date of the receipt of the purchased goods.
- All freight, duties, customs, and other related shipping charges for the returned merchandise are borne by the purchaser. Shipments made freight collect will be refused.
- Merchandise must be returned properly packaged in brand new, salable condition, along with original packaging and all documentation, accessories and certificates.
