Electric Examination Table – ToronCare™ 1133
The ToronCare™ 1133 Electric Examination Table is an electric exam table with an integrated disposable sheet changer designed to support efficient patient turnover and improved hygiene in clinics and medical practices. A linear motor provides smooth height adjustment, while a second motor advances disposable paper across the mattress platform between patients. The backrest is adjusted with a gas spring, providing a practical mechanical configuration for routine examination and treatment procedures.
The automated sheet changer provides both full-width and half-width settings, allowing healthcare staff to replace the complete paper barrier or only the section used during an examination. This flexible design can help reduce unnecessary paper consumption while maintaining a clean examination surface. The mattress platform adjusts from 545 to 775 mm, while the backrest provides 0° to 60° upward adjustment and 0° to 50° downward adjustment below the horizontal position.
Four individually braked 125 mm castors provide stable mobility and support a 200 kg safe working load. The braking system helps keep the examination table securely positioned during patient procedures while allowing convenient movement when required.
The ToronCare™ 1133 Electric Examination Table is particularly suitable for clinics with frequent patient turnover. Its motorized disposable sheet changer simplifies barrier replacement between appointments and reduces the need for manual sheet removal and replacement. Positioned between a standard electric examination table and a full multi-function model, the ToronCare™ 1133 focuses on electric height adjustment and automated hygiene management without adding advanced tilt or lateral tabletop translation functions.
Electric Examination Table - ToronCare™ 1133 Applications
The ToronCare™ 1133 Electric Examination Table is designed for clinical environments that require convenient height adjustment and efficient disposable sheet replacement between patients.
-
High-Volume Outpatient Clinics: The automated sheet changer helps reduce the time required for manual barrier replacement between patient visits.
-
General Practice and Physical Examinations: Foot-pedal height adjustment allows clinicians to position the examination table for patients and healthcare professionals of different heights.
-
Infection-Control-Sensitive Settings: A fresh disposable paper barrier for each patient helps minimize direct contact with the examination surface.
-
Multi-Provider Clinic Rooms: Quick pedal-controlled height adjustment supports efficient room setup when multiple practitioners use the same examination table.
-
Partial or Localized Examinations: The half-width sheet setting allows staff to replace only the section of the examination surface used during a procedure.
Electric Examination Table - ToronCare™ 1133 Key Features
The ToronCare™ 1133 Electric Examination Table combines foot-pedal height adjustment with an automated disposable sheet changer to support efficient patient turnover and streamlined clinical workflows.
-
Automated Disposable Bed Sheet Changer: A dedicated motor advances a fresh paper barrier across the mattress platform between patients.
-
Half-Width Sheet Changer Setting: Advances only part of the roll for examinations that use a smaller section of the table surface.
-
Foot-Pedal Height Adjustment (545–775 mm): A single linear motor raises and lowers the table through the foot pedal, allowing clinicians to keep their hands free.
-
Gas-Spring Backrest (0–60° Up, 0–50° Down): Provides smooth backrest adjustment in both directions without requiring a separate motor.
-
Individually Braked Castors (125 mm): Four individually locking castors provide stable positioning while allowing the table to be moved when needed.
-
Battery-Backed Control Box: Supports operation of the height-adjustment and sheet-changer motors between charging cycles.
-
Foam Mattress: Provides a supportive and comfortable surface for routine examinations and clinical procedures.
Theory and Method
The ToronCare™ 1133 Electric Examination Table uses a linear motor for height adjustment through a scissor-lift mechanism. The motor converts electrical energy into controlled linear force, causing the scissor structure to open or close and raise or lower the mattress platform. Foot-pedal control allows clinicians to adjust table height while keeping both hands free, which is particularly useful when assisting with patient transfers.
The automated sheet changer uses a separate motor to advance disposable paper across the mattress platform. The motor moves a fresh section of paper into position while separating the used section, reducing the need for manual tear-and-replace handling. The full-width setting advances the paper across the complete mattress surface, while the half-width setting moves only part of the roll for examinations where the patient uses a smaller section of the table.
The backrest uses a gas-spring mechanism rather than a motor. A sealed cylinder containing compressed gas provides controlled resistance as the piston moves. When the locking mechanism is released, the backrest can be positioned smoothly by hand in both upward and downward directions. This configuration provides adjustable backrest positioning without requiring an additional electric motor.
