Key Benefits of the DSC-10TT Control and Measurement System
1. Advanced Testing Machine Control Technology
The DSC-10TT control system is designed specifically for universal testing machines and incorporates advanced servo motor control chips with a multi-channel data acquisition module. The system provides high-speed sampling, precise control, stable operation, and reliable test data processing.
Its hardware-based architecture helps improve system stability and operational consistency, making it suitable for demanding material testing and laboratory applications.
2. High-Efficiency Professional Control Platform
The DSC-10TT system combines a DSP (Digital Signal Processor) with an MCU (Microcontroller Unit) to provide high-speed computing and efficient input/output control. This architecture delivers enhanced processing performance compared with systems based solely on DSP or 32-bit microcontrollers.
Integrated motor-control functions, including PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) and QEI (Quadrature Encoder Interface), support accurate and stable control of the testing machine.
3. Parallel Sampling for Real-Time Measurement Accuracy
A dedicated ASIC (Application-Specific Integrated Circuit) enables synchronous sampling of load cell signals. This parallel sampling architecture helps reduce asynchronous loading and deformation errors associated with conventional measurement systems.
The hardware-based parallel sampling design provides accurate synchronization of measurement signals for reliable real-time test analysis.
4. Position Pulse Signal Filtering for Improved Stability
The optical encoder module incorporates a 24-level hardware filtering system to refine pulse signal acquisition. This filtering technology helps reduce counting errors caused by electrical interference and other signal disturbances.
The result is improved position measurement accuracy and stable operation of the pulse capture system.
5. Optimized Low-Level Control for Fast Response
The dedicated ASIC chip handles peripheral operations such as signal sampling and condition monitoring through hardware-based processing. This allows the DSC-10TT system to focus on high-speed PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) calculations.
The optimized architecture improves system response and supports real-time closed-loop control for precise testing performance.
Performance Characteristics of the DSC-10TT System
The DSC-10TT software platform is designed for Windows operating systems and provides real-time testing curve display, data processing, and graphical analysis. Its modular software architecture provides an intuitive operating environment for universal testing machine applications.
Test data storage and processing are supported through an MS-ACCESS database, providing organized data management and convenient record retrieval. The software also integrates with Microsoft Office, allowing test data to be exported and reports to be prepared efficiently.
User Authority and Testing Management
The system provides a multi-level user authority management function, allowing access to specific software features according to individual login permissions. The super administrator can manage user accounts and assign different operational modules based on user requirements.
The testing management system allows users to:
-
Define testing units and measurement settings.
-
Create test programs according to applicable standards.
-
Configure testing procedures and parameters.
-
Manage test records and sample information.
-
Generate testing reports according to specified requirements.
-
Monitor testing processes, equipment status, and program control steps in real time.

Advanced Testing Curve Analysis
The software provides real-time visualization and analysis of multiple testing curves, including:
-
Load-deformation curves
-
Load-time curves
-
Other configurable testing curves
Users can compare multiple sample curves simultaneously and use different display colors to distinguish individual test results. Curve zooming allows users to examine specific sections of the test data in greater detail.
The system supports both automatic and manual feature-point selection. Selected feature points can be labeled and included in generated test reports for clearer presentation of important test characteristics.
Automatic Data Storage and Retrieval
To reduce the risk of data loss caused by unexpected interruptions, the software automatically saves testing data during operation. A fuzzy-search function allows users to locate stored records quickly using relevant search terms.
The system can also combine and analyze data from different test programs and batches, supporting efficient organization, comparison, and evaluation of material test records.
Microsoft Office Integration and Report Generation
Based on an MS-ACCESS database, the DSC-10TT software integrates with Microsoft Office applications and allows test reports to be saved in Microsoft Word and Excel formats.
The system also supports direct database access for raw data analysis, providing useful capabilities for material research and detailed test-data evaluation.
Automatic result calculation can determine key mechanical testing parameters, including ReH, ReL, Rp0.2, Fm, Rt0.5, Rt0.6, Rt0.65, Rt0.7, Rm, and E. Users can configure parameter settings according to testing requirements and generate reports containing both numerical results and graphical data.
Automatic Extensometer Management
The software includes an automatic extensometer switching function. After yield detection, the system can notify the operator when extensometer removal is required, helping simplify the testing workflow.
Following completion of a test, the movable crosshead can automatically return to its initial position, improving operational efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
Automatic Calibration and Measurement Functions
The DSC-10TT system supports automatic calibration of load and elongation measurements based on standard reference values. This helps maintain measurement accuracy and simplifies calibration procedures.
The system also supports a full-range, classification-free measurement mode, allowing convenient module unit exchange and modular hardware expansion.
During testing, the software automatically adjusts the displayed curve according to the applied test force and measured deformation. This provides clear real-time visualization of testing behavior and supports accurate analysis throughout the test process.
